I made this once, and do not plan to do it again because the various flavors get mixed up and you cannot savor each one as one should.

For those who want to try it. It is fairly simple, you line a 5 quart bowl (preferably stainless steel) with cling wrap, then freeze it. Meanwhile you soften a first ice cream, and pat it around the bowl in an even layer. You refreeze everything for a few hours while thawing a second ice cream and repeat.
A piece of advice, allow at least 24 hours of freezing after you have filled your bowl. The colder your freezer, the better.
Also when choosing the order in which to layer, think of the colors. I started with strawberry, followed by Oreo cooke ice cream, next came pistachio and finally chocolate. I now see that it would have looked better if the chocolate came between the Oreo and the pistachio as these two are too close in colour to offer a visible contrast.
To un mold you might run a warm damp cloth around the bowl and then turn it upside down over your serving platter. The cling wrap will help unfold. You then pull IT off and TADAAA!!!
To serve it recommend warming your knife before each slice.
