Cream butter and cheese together until light.
Add sugar, salt and flour. Mix all ingredients until they come together. Roll into a ball and chill overnight.
Combien sugar, cinnamon, currants and walnuts.
Roll out chilled dough on floured surface to approx. 1/4 in.
Spread a light coating of apricot jam over dough. Sprinkle filling over jam, pressing it down lightly.
Cut into equal triangles ( like a pizza) and roll each triangle, starting with the wide edge, like you would a croissant.
Chill for 30 minutes while you pre-heat over to 350 F
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and fragrant.
