Mais c&#8217;est en fait deux recettes en une. En effet la recette d&#8217;\u00e9corces de pamplemousse confites peut servir \u00e0 d&#8217;autres fin comme des languettes tremp\u00e9es \u00e0 moiti\u00e9 dans le chocolat. La recette peut de plus se faire avec des \u00e9corces d&#8217;orange ou de citron. Je sugg\u00e8re d&#8217;ailleurs de pr\u00e9parer les \u00e9corces d&#8217;abord, peut \u00eatre la veille, et d&#8217;assembler le pain\/ gateau le lendemain. Si vous choisissez de faire le pain \u00e0 l&#8217;orange ou au citron, remplacez les \u00e9corces, zeste et jus de la recette par ceux de l&#8217;agrume choisi.<\/h2>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<div lani\u00e8res d&#8217;au plus 1\/3 po (1 cm) de large.<br \/>\nMettre les lani\u00e8res d&#8217;\u00e9corce dans une casserole et ajouter 3 tasses (750 ml) d&#8217;eau froide.<br \/>\nAmener \u00e0 \u00e9bullition \u00e0 feu vif et faire cuire \u00e0 d\u00e9couvert 10 minutes.<br \/>\nApr\u00e8s ce temps, \u00e9goutter les lani\u00e8res d&#8217;\u00e9corce et les rincer sous le robinet d&#8217;eau froide.<br \/>\nFaire cuire \u00e0 nouveau pendant 10 minutes dans 3 tasses d&#8217;eau froide et rincer.<br \/>\nR\u00e9p\u00e9ter encore une fois.<br \/>\nR\u00e9server les \u00e9corces cuites et rinc\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 2\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Mettre 3\/4 tasse (175 ml) de sucre \u00e0 fruits, le miel liquide et l&#8217;eau bouillante dans une casserole.<br \/>\nAmener \u00e0 \u00e9bullition \u00e0 feu moyen et laisser mijoter 1 minute.<br \/>\nAjouter les lani\u00e8res d&#8217;\u00e9corce cuites et \u00e9goutt\u00e9es.<br \/>\nLaisser mijoter \u00e0 feu doux, \u00e0 d\u00e9couvert, 30 \u00e0 40 minutes, ou jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 ce que le sirop soit absorb\u00e9, en remuant d temps en temps avec une cuiller de bois (je n&#8217;ai jamais r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 faire &#8220;dispara\u00eetre&#8221; le sirop).<br \/>\nApr\u00e8s ce temps, \u00e9goutter le tout dans une passoire environ 10 minutes pour \u00e9liminer le surplus de sirop.<br \/>\nCouper les lani\u00e8res en d\u00e9s .<br \/>\nPuis mettre 1\/2 tasse (125 ml) de sucre dans une assiette et enrober les cubes d&#8217;\u00e9corce.<br \/>\nR\u00e9server.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-heading\">Pain au pamplemousse<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 3\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Pr\u00e9chauffer le four \u00e0 350\u00b0 F (180\u00b0 C)<br \/>\nGraisser et enfariner un moule \u00e0 pain (ou plusieurs petits moules).<br \/>\nBattre le beurre doux ramolli au batteur \u00e9lectrique jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 ce qu&#8217;il soit cr\u00e9meux.<br \/>\nIncorporer graduellement 3\/4 tasse + 5 cu \u00e0 th\u00e9 (200ml) de sucre \u00e0 fruits.<br \/>\nAjouter alors les oeufs un \u00e0 un en fouettant<br \/>\npuis ajouter le zeste et 1\/2 tasse (125 ml) de jus de pamplemousse.<br \/>\nIncorporer la farine, la poudre \u00e0 p\u00e2te, le sel.<br \/>\nFinalement incorporer d\u00e9licatement les d\u00e9s d&#8217;\u00e9corce confits au m\u00e9lange  \u00e0 l&#8217;aide d&#8217;une cuiller de bois jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 l&#8217;obtention d&#8217;une p\u00e2te homog\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 4\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Verser la pr\u00e9paration dans le moule et mettre au four pr\u00e9chauff\u00e9.<br \/>\nFaire cuire pendant 1 heure (moins si ce sont des petits moules) ou jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 ce que la lame d&#8217;un couteau piqu\u00e9e en son centre ressorte propre.<br \/>\nLaisser refroidir 10 minutes \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cooked-single-direction cooked-direction\" data-step=\"Step 5\">\n<div class=\"cooked-dir-content\">\n<p>Pendant ce temps, mettre le sucre glace dans un bol et y verser 2 cu \u00e0 soupe (30 ml) de jus de pamplemousse.<br \/>\nBattre \u00e0 l&#8217;aide d&#8217;un fouet jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 l&#8217;obtention d&#8217;une consistance cr\u00e9meuse\/\u00e9paisse.
