The decor is modern, intriguing with bar tables lit from within and warm thanks to a welcoming fireplace.<br \/>\nThe menu was interesting but the wine is what stands out. They sell it by the glass which allows the guests to try more.<br \/>\nWe got to try four: a Pinot Gris Kuentz (from the Alsace region) , a Mill Verdelho, (from Autralia), a Sauvignon Blanc Seate land (from New Zealand) and a VDP (vin de pays) Val Montferrand (from the Languedoc Roussillon area).<br \/>\nThe food was good but not memorable, the wine was both! And expensive&#8230;<br \/>\nA good choice for wealthy wine lovers.<\/p>\n<p>Our second restaurant was Le Margaux<br \/>\n5058 avenue Du Parc, corner of Laurier<br \/>\nTel: 514-448-1598<br \/>\nThis was not a my first time there but proved to be, once again, a very good experience at a very reasonable price.<br \/>\nMy main course was a foie gras stuffed trout. It was outstanding! Appetizers were tasty and well presented and desserts were varied and succulent.<br \/>\nWell worth repeat visits.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My friend Mandie was in town for another gastronomical experience.
