Our first port of call was Dubrovnik in Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"412\" src=\"https:\/\/flyingplates.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/image-346.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"4053\" class=\"wp-image-4053\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flyingplates.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/image-346.png 550w, https:\/\/flyingplates.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/image-346-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We started with a tour of the Croatian \u201cRiviera\u201d and saved the walled city for last. We visited Cavtat a picturesque seashore village. I sat down and closed my eyes to better savor the music. The costumes were all hand embroidered and very colorful. The dancing was very energetic, so much so that one poor girl stepped off the stage in a farandole.
