I had planned to start with a big production about my plan to loose weight, with colourful progress charts, bells and whistles and anecdotes about being a fatty\u2026But somehow it all seems too superficial. I still plan to do it\u2026eventually, but not just yet. I am still very sad over my father\u2019s death. It is hard to find the right tone. I have no intention of making this diary into a dark gloomy affair\u2026I would compare this to getting back up after a fall on the ice: you have to stand up, make sure no bones are broken, brush off the snow, test the ground and resume walking very carefully.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new year, a new chapter in this diary.
