Formula 1 cake

This was a birthday cake TO me from my daughter. The yarn was made out of almond paste!

This cake has almond paste birds, coconut macaroon nests and candied chocolate eggs (store bought)

Made vanilla and chocolate cupcakes and decorated them with Italian buttercream (colored red yellow and orange), pretzels, topped with miniature mashmallows briefly grilled over a flame, and chocolate covered raisins for stones and pirouline cookies as logs.
