Lasagna

This is a framework of a recipe. You can change it and make it your own in a variety of ways. For example, you can easily replace the béchamel sauce (white cheese sauce) by mixing Ricotta with an egg.
And you can replace the lasagna noodles with thin crêpes. You canuse different kinds of cheese. You can modify the quantities depending on the size of your dish. And finally this dish can be frozen once cooked and cooled.

Yields6 Servings
 3 cups Spaghetti sauce
 9 Lasagna noodles (oven ready) or boiled according to instructions if they are not over ready.
 2 cups Sauce Mornay (béchamel, or white sauce, with cheese)
 2 cups Grated mozzarella cheese

In a rectangular oven safe dish start by covering the bottom with a thin layer of spaghetti sauce

Then put one layer of lasagna noodles close together on top of the sauce

Cover the noodles with a layer of cheese béchamel sauce.

Start over with spaghetti sauce and repeat until the pan is full, ending with spaghetti sauce

Sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese over everything

Cook in a 350°F oven for 30 to 45 minutes, until bubbly.

I you find the top too pale you can put it under the broil for a few minutes
