Roasted cauliflower

This recipe is probably healthier than the traditional cheese sauce covered cauliflower one, it is also very tasty.
You can play with the flavours using powders instead of the onion and garlic and adding or subtracting spices....

Ingredients
 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
 6 tbsp olive oil
 2 tsp sugar
 ½ tsp salt
 ½ tsp black pepper
 ½ tsp cayenne pepper
 ½ tsp chopped onion
 ½ tsp ground cumin
 ½ tsp dried oregano
 ½ tsp ground turmeric
 ½ tsp minced garlic
 ½ tsp smoked paprika

With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 230 °C (450 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, combine the sugar, salt, spices, and oil. Coat the cauliflower florets.

Bake for about 30 to 45 minutes turning over halfway through, until the cauliflower is cooked and golden to dark brown.
