This is absolutely sinful. This particular recipe yields a lot! You can easily divide it.
This crescent shaped filled pastry originates in the jewish communities of Poland, but I got my recipe in NC....

Yields24 Servings
Dough
 1 lb cream cheese
 1 lb butter
 1 tbsp salt
 4 cups flour
 1 tsp sugar
Filling
 ½ cup apricot jam
Dough

Cream butter and cheese together until light.

Add sugar, salt and flour. Mix all ingredients until they come together. Roll into a ball and chill overnight.

Filling

Combien sugar, cinnamon, currants and walnuts.

Assembly

Roll out chilled dough on floured surface to approx. 1/4 in.

Spread a light coating of apricot jam over dough. Sprinkle filling over jam, pressing it down lightly.

Cut into equal triangles ( like a pizza) and roll each triangle, starting with the wide edge, like you would a croissant.

Chill for 30 minutes while you pre-heat over to 350 F

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and fragrant.
