I have just returned from a whirlwind stay in Paris. It was a stopover between Wales and Switzerland. Because it was such a short stop it had been decided I would not write it up in the travel section, soo I get to do it here!!
An important part of traveling is the means of transportation and during this trip I have had a few interesting ones besides the usual plane and busses.
In Wales we did all our tours in a tiny Austin mini, a real one with leather seats and wood dashboard! We even managed to have a picnic for three people inside it during a brief but fierce rainstorm.
In Paris I rediscovered the joys of riding a motorcycle. What better way to visit the city of lights? We can zoom from place to place, park anywhere and see everything! This was a unique machine…so was my helmet!
Later I got to ride the TGV (high speed train) to Geneva. They have a rather futuristic look to then…all the more interesting after seeing the Starlight Express musical, which is all about trains.
