Sunday it was raining so we agreed to meet for lunch at the Museum of Fine Arts restaurant. This is a regular stop for us and it is always very good. We started with the tomato and basil soup, followed by a warm filet of beef salad over mesclun, with some parmesan shavings and an interesting sauce that was supposed to have some star anise in it. We chose different desserts. I had the warm fudge cake with ice cream and she had the mignardise which was a plate full of small portions of various desserts such as my fudge cake, a crème brulée, some chocolate truffles, cantaloup sherbet… deeeeeelishious!
