I visited this new trendy restaurant today. It is located downtown and stays open quite late. They have 4 different menus depending on the time of day. It is called le Pois Penche, which means the leaning pea. As a logo they have a small pea pod that appears here and there… on the foot of their stem ware among other places.
When I walked in, I was reminded of La closerie des Lilas in Paris (a restaurant frequented by Hemingway among others) and even the first page of their websites are the same colour.

It is very french… the sea food display reminds me of Paris also…
It is located on a corner thus offering lots of windows…the colours are silver and various shades of red which makes the place feel light…the seats are upholstered in fabric which keeps the noise level down even when the place is packed…the washrooms are gorgeous….the service is knowledgeable…
As for the food…it was OK, classic French bistro fare…very well presented but expensive…
A fun place to see and be seen….
