I want to sell a car. Putting an ad seemed like the logical thing to do. This proved to be a challenge as I know nothing about cars. To me a car is something that takes you from point A to point B without having to walk. A nice car is comfortable and has a good heater. End of story.
I found a website for classified ads and checked out the competition. I had hoped a nice photo would be enough but NOooooo, there is talk of motor, transmission, and features that are totally unkown to me. How am I supposed to know if my wheels are aluminium or if my wondows are tinted? I went back and forth several times to check, the model, the mileage, the tires, I made calls to dealerships to figure out the various warranties and road side assistance service that will stay with the car… and I finally posted the ad to the best of my knowledge. Now the wait begins. My biggest fear is that someone will ask me a question I cannot answer about my own car and my absolute ignorance will be exposed!…oh well! We shall see….
