The weather had been very hot and muggy for several days. ..finally a storm broke out…thunder and lightning, rain and strong winds…I was in the basement for most of it so did not realize how violent it had been until the next morning, when I read in the paper that a young man had been crushed to death by a falling tree and when I walked by the park around the corner from my house and saw these trees bent and broken by the wind… Storms are very humbling, it reminds us that nature is stronger than man..
