Bon cop bad cop

This film just opened a few days ago. It is a Canadian production. Each character speaks in his mother tongue. You can see it in the french version with english subtitles or in english with french subtitles…they should have made one version for Montrealers…without any subtitles….after all, most of us understand, french, english and swearwords.
It is a comedy…a police film….and an action flick. But mostly, it plays on the differences between english and french canadians…between Ontario and Quebec…

The story starts when a body is found hanging over a road sign between Quebec and Ontario…this requires 2 police forces to get involved…or rather their very cliché inspectors: the uptight, closely shaven, tie wearing Martin Ward from Toronto, and the very relaxed, unshaven, leather jacket and Tshirt wearing David Bouchard from Montréal.
The film is funny, even if the jokes are predictable, it has no pretentions of being a GREAT film, but it is good entertainement. I enjoyed it.
