The year has changed…I have taken 2 trips already and not a single entry in Flyingplates. Talk about procrastination!!

I succeeded in getting everything unpacked and in place in time to have everyone over for Christmas eve which was a big accomplishment

I used the large island to serve the food buffet style, which worked better than I had ever expected…and I was quite pleased with the results for someone who only did frozen dinners for the last 9 months.
I was especially happy with these duck breast and endive pieces…
Having gotten my kitchen legs back over Christmas, I decided to throw a dessert party as a house warming. Again the island was my display center.
