I have been to the movies again. Two totally different films, the only common ground is that I saw both of them on their first weekend out.:” Fever pitch” and “The interpreter”. The first with Drew Barrimore and the second with Nicole Kidman. Off the bat (literally) I prefer Drew, she is sweet and wholesome…the film is sweet emptiness, The second is a suspense, with twists and turns and lots of violence. I must say I found Nicole Kidman to be very good in it. Sean Penn as the male lead was handsome but over done. I am glad I saw both as they do not fit my usual pattern of movie choices.
Before the movie started they showed clips of an upcoming movie about internet dating…that should be interesting…I must say I refined my own search and wrote up front that I insist on teeth and clothes…The illegal aliens seem to have given up on me. So far I have not discouraged fetishists as I find them entertaining and might gather story material there…but I do not reply to couples looking for a threesome…nor married men looking for a discrete afternoon liaison…
