The jazz fest is going full blast right now. It is hard to photograph crowds or stages from afar…often it is the street entertainers that are the best targets. I attended one indoor concert by a group called The Land of the Sun Jazz Band. The two stars of that band are C. Haden and G. Rubalcaba. I enjoyed it even if I did not find it very exciting. I walked around and got glimpses or a few more bands, but I am not knowledgeable enough to really pick and choose the best shows. The weather was gorgeous and people were in a great mood. So I am glad I went…and might go back again as this lasts for almost 2 weeks…
