The book of spells cake/July 2020I was asked for a "Grimoire" (a book of spells) cake.

The campfire cake/ June 2020This one was not a request...just an idea I had for fathers' day. I had a lot of fun with it and was happy with the results.

The ColonialI have no idea where this recipe's name originates as I could not find anything like it online. But it is well worth trying nonetheless. You can also replace the Rooibos by Earl Grey tea and the lime juice with lemon juice. Which brings me to the Madison Park Breakfast gin which is a bergamote infused Gin.....but that is another story.

The kids’ favourite potato salad

This is a very traditional southern potato salad recipe. If you want to be decadent you can sprinkle some crispy bacon pieces over it.

The Koala cakeThe challenge here was to make sure the head, ears and arms stayed in place through transport in July heat....They were attached with icing and wooden skewers.
